So Officer McNamara resigned. This means that after a short while, he will become a “gypsy cop”, and be quietly be hired by another police department. And that’s because many departments are desperate for certified officers ready to hit the streets.
And woe to the city that hires him. Every attorney who represents a black guy will bring up Officer McNamara’s past. So there will be many successful lawsuits. And also many “not guilty” verdicts when the person whom Officer McNamara arrested is black.
Too many police officers just can’t stand the thought of a mere “civilian” having any sort of control over a weapon.
Attention Blue Suit public servants: We the People are armed. Get used to it.
