On Saturday, leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump won the Colorado Republican 2023 Centennial Dinner Presidential Straw Poll by a massive landslide.
Trump came in first place, of course, with 87 percent. Absentee Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) came in second place with a minor six percent.
The Centennial Dinner was headlined by Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake (R-AZ) and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO).
"Colorado Republicans spoke loudly & clearly that President Trump is the frontrunner and the man to beat. The Party congratulates President Trump and looks forward to the grassroots America-First energy he will continue to bring to our base heading into 2024," Party Chairman Dave Williams said.
In the audience was America First congressional candidate Trent Leisy, who is running to replace Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO). Buck recently announced he won't seek reelection in 2024 over President Trump's leadership of the party. Leisy, wearing a "MAGA King" hat, could often be seen meeting and taking pictures with attendees.
"This isn't a rare occurrence for President Trump. Trump wins every real poll by a landslide," Leisy said in an exclusive interview.
"I announced my campaign against RINO Ken Buck last month because he has not only betrayed the people of Colorado's 4th Congressional District but has betrayed President Trump and the America First movement as well," Leisy added.
"I am running to be another soldier in Rightful President Trump's army in Congress and will always put America First," Leisy said.
Leisy, a Navy Veteran and a small business owner in agriculture is running in a solid Republican district and said a Trump endorsement would result in a "landslide victory."
After Buck announced his retirement, President Trump took to his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, and wrote, "Good news for the Country! Congressman Ken Buck of Colorado, a weak and ineffective Super RINO if there ever was one, announced today that he won't be running again, which is a great thing for the Republican Party."
“He knew long ago he could never win against MAGA, so now he is, like some past and present, auditioning for a job at Fake News CNN, MSDNC, or some other Country-destroying Leftwing Outlet. They can have him, and watch their Ratings go down still further, if that’s even possible,” Trump added.
Not a surprise but I’m in a Trump area of Colorado. He won my county with about 65% of the vote. Love it here.
Ken Buck, may his political career rest in peace.
In the 2012 election there were 10 Colorado counties that had over 100% voter participation. I expect these same “voters” to show up in 2024.
And yet they are still trying to eliminate him from being on the ballot.
Commie bastards.
bttt
(/sarcasm, because some readers needs this)
Trump needs massive landslides in all elections. Only in this way can the cheaters be stopped. Still, I fear Biden will still win in the key states due to ballot stuffing—China can print copies faster than people can vote. Media will fawningly say “Biden won fair and square.: Go home! Pay your taxes and give more money to Ukraine.” You don’t count—if you cause a ruckus —Mask Mandates for Covid VII and shots! That or some BLM/Antifa Riots for you! Let slip the zombie—drug addict army of Homeless to make you suffer. Obey Obama/Soros or face the Deep State/permanent Democrat state wrath! Have you transitioned yet? What’s keeping you comrade?
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
“Trump at 87%? The swastika banners are unfurling in Colorado!”
Why post something so stupid? Or, can’t you help yourself?
sarcasm u fool.
“sarcasm u fool.”
Not to any leftist trolling the pages dumbass...you were not blessed with measurable intellect is seems...
My pessimistic view is that this want change a thing UNTIL the mail-in ballots policy/law has been changed.
