Donald Trump and his allies have begun mapping out specific plans for using the federal government to punish critics and opponents should he win a second term, with the former president naming individuals he wants to investigate or prosecute and his associates drafting plans to potentially invoke the Insurrection Act on his first day in office to allow him to deploy the military against civil demonstrations.
In private, Trump has told advisers and friends in recent months that he wants the Justice Department to investigate onetime officials and allies who have become critical of his time in office, including his former chief of staff, John F. Kelly, and former attorney general William P. Barr, as well as his ex-attorney Ty Cobb and former Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Mark A. Milley, according to people who have talked to him, who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations. Trump has also talked of prosecuting officials at the FBI and Justice Department, a person familiar with the matter said.
The people to punish first are the scum running the DOJ and Homeland Security. Until that rat’s nest is cleaned out there will be no winning. I would like to see the agencies abolished and reconstituted as they were before the Patriot Act with new leadership.
They’re scared. Good.
WaPo needs to hold a mirror in front of themselves first.
I would reduce all federal agencies to a fraction of their current size, and I’d handpick firing all crazies.
That’s what I say...
What’s good for the goose is better for the low life left. I hope Trump gives it to the left good and hard. Perhaps they’d like some enhanced doses of “mostly peaceful”. With a little topping of doxing. We’ve had it. It’s time to get this over with one way or another.
Don't forget the IRS. Fire them all.
Treason trials, or it’s just talk.
Reckoning.
The rule of 3 authors strikes again.
Best way to reduce the federal agencies is by moving them to flyover country. State & county governments will appreciate the increase in the income tax base. You will easily cut the numbers by 25% to 50%. Riffing or firing them will invite lawsuits which you will lose with juries picked from the DC\NOVA\Md area.

THREE ADULTS TO WRITE THIS!
Washington Post
No, it’s not about punishing critics. It’s about holding those who abuse their positions of trust, accountable.
Biden signed EOs on Day One undoing many of the good and sensible things Trump had done that made our nation great. It was pure revenge.
Yup, another article with NO LIB BIAS!
(I crack me up sometimes.)
If it was my crew, they’d be sowing disinformation and not talking about actual plans.
That this came from bezosrag is notable.
It’s not political revenge, it is surrounding oneself with people that share your vision and can be trusted to work towards those ends.
When PDJT takes office one of the first EOs he signs is to terminate the employment any individual above GS4(?) level if they were hired during the O’Bungle or Cho Bi-Dung administrations.
Golly gee, welcome to politics Isaac, Josh and Devlin!
