If you live in Ohio and you are a decent human being of any creed, you have an obligation to get to the polls before 7 pm on Tuesday 11/7/23 and vote NO on Issue #1, the attempt at enshrining abortion and gender affirming care in the Ohio constitution.

My town votes for City Council. The Mayor, a great conservative in unopposed. There are five republicans and three democrats running for four Council seats.

I had to vote absentee.

My daughter lives in Charlottesville, VA. She’s one of 8 known conservatives. It’s barely worth voting. There’s only one contested seat for state Senate and he’s about guaranteed to lose. Every other seat is guaranteed to go to the Democrat. All uncontested. School board. 4 seats, 4 democrats, 0 republicans running

That’s disappointing. But it’s pretty much the same in the ward where I live (MA).

Here in Texas we have about a dozen Constitutional amendments on the ballot, but that’s all there was when I early voted last week. In person. And had to show ID.
