Putin has killed more Russian speakers than any Kremlin leader since Stalin. That is certainly “no joke” and has literally nothing to do with your “neocon” day dreams.
It’s Russian imperialism, not nationalism. I’m doubt you know the difference. They’ve publicly declared their intent to invade Moldova, the Baltic states, Sweden, Finland and Poland once they’ve conquered Ukraine.
