So-called palestinians, Hamas, hezbollah, fatah, gazans, arabs, muslims, islamists, iranians, etc,..etc…etc….all hold the people of Israel responsible for the actions of the Israeli government. Likewise, they all hold Americans responsible for the actions of our government. So…..like it or not the gazans are responsible for the actions of hamas. So you can’t start a genocidal war of annihilation with your neighbor and not expect blowback.

An inevitable consequence of War is that we learn from our enemies. There is no shame in that education, though many of the truths taught are horrible ones indeed.
It is tempered by our desire to go home after the wars and return to a life with wives, girlfriends, boyfriends relatives and casual friends. You know, what used to be called "normal". It can be a hard journey back to "normal" and some people cannot make it.
There is no point in throwing guilt around to make anyone hesitate in doing what must be done to end a war. Wars end when some party is the victor, or all parties are gone. Take your pick.
You win wars by killing people and breaking their things, because they are trying to kill your people and break your things.
