The list citing “Detroit” I’m sure means neighboring Dearborn and Hamtramck. Both have Arab Muslim government leaders. Rashida Tlaib’s district is in the Dearborn region. One of the largest populations of Muslims outside of any Middle Eastern country and the largest of the United States.

Hamtramck became the first Muslim-majority city in the U.S. the first city to have a Muslim-majority city council in the history of the United States, with four of the six council members being Muslim. Hamtramck elected a completely Muslim-American city council and a Muslim mayor, becoming the first municipality in the United States to be governed entirely by Muslim-Americans.
