When the threat appeared imminent, the FBI had to move in on the only charge that could stick for now: weapons charges. Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, was planning a massive terror attack targeting Jewish people in the Houston area. He had visited multiple gun ranges in the area and was trying to obtain instructions for bomb-making.
How Abuayyash was able to get firearms is a detail that will be revealed in time, but yes—he shouldn’t have been able to purchase or possess any firearm on a non-immigrant visa. That paperwork expired in 2019, but he’s been allowed to remain on American soil on a work authorization order through 2024. He's also applied for asylum (via NY Post):
A “radical” Jordanian national living in Texas was allegedly plotting an attack on Houston’s Jewish community before he was arrested on gun charges.
Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, had been studying how to build bombs and posted about his support for killing Jews, federal officials claim.
“He has viewed specific and detailed content posted by radical organizations on the internet, including lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices,” FBI Director Chris Wray told the Senate Homeland Security Committee, though he declined to identify Abuayyash by name.
“And that defendant has made statements to others that support the killing of individuals of particular religious faiths.

Does anyone see a problem in any of this?
There’s another huge caravan coming our way with all kinds of freebies waiting for them. How many of them are terrorists?
FJB.
Getting ride of guns to save Jews. It’s working so well in Israel right now.
“...and was trying to obtain instructions for bomb-making.”
That’s usually where the Feds come into the picture, with fake “explosives” to set the guy up for better headlines.
Yup. Anyone else notice all of the new FBI shows making them look like law enforcement geniuses? Hollywood is definitely into the ‘make the feds look good’ agenda.
Oh good. They caught one. Pat em on the back and hand em a cigar. Now what about the millions of others?
Actually you may be. All they have to do is take down the electrical grid.

That’s the scariest scenario. It’s real.
Jordanian w/ an expired visa, Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, was planning a massive terror attack targeting Jewish people in the Houston area.
He had (a) visited multiple gun ranges in the area and
(b) was trying to obtain instructions for bomb-making.
How Abuayyash was able to get firearms will be revealed in time, but the law stipulates he shouldn’t have been able to purchase or possess any firearm on a non-immigrant visa which had expired in 2019.
“It’s too convenient. At this exact moment, they have a splashy trendy case. This is another FBI set up. They provided him with the gun somehow…probably through a store or informant acting on their orders. Bank on it.”
Yep, I agree. Just trying to save face and claim they actually DO SOMETHING now and then. The guy is an asset and this will all be swept under the rug and forgotten in a week.
“He has viewed specific and detailed content posted by radical organizations on the internet, including lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices,”
But this bothers me. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This narrative could be used against any one of us who innocently and legally visit military nostalgia/surplus, firearms, or hardware sites. Being conservative and looking at firearms, tannerite, black powder, propellant, hardware such as pipe parts and/or fertilizer can all be twisted into the statement they made.
“including lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices,”

“That’s usually where the Feds come into the picture, with fake “explosives” to set the guy up for better headlines.”
Yep, I was noting the same thing. See #49.
Why is the FBI wasting time going after Muslim terrorists instead of getting those church going Catholics and white people and school parents?
Treat him like a J6er.
Execution first, then trial.
That’s terrible.
Sure they did. Nothing from that stasi trash goon squad should be trusted. If anything it will be most likely they stage terrorist attacks to empower their deep state masters. BUT they need to throw a bone for the sumects once in a while to show what a bang up job they afe doing “protecting” the country.
“We have to fight them here, so we don’t have to fight them over there”
I think that’s how it goes. Something like that. Oh well.
The article says the Jordanian had been to gun ranges.
We don’t know that the gun store sold him anything. I’ve never had a gun store perform a background check before letting me hold and examine a firearm that is for sale.
The FBI decided to take out one of their assets to make it look like they are doing something.
“The tell is that a gun ship was not raided and identified, nor was the seller arrested as an accomplice.”
I think you nailed it. This thing has the stench of a rat/FBI op.
Well we can all breathe easier now. They caught the one terrorist who managed to sneak into our country, evading our formidable border security measures.
Bingo! Also, was he in on it too and is he really who they claim. We'll never know if he ends up getting a nice retirement estate on the beach somewhere. Just can't trust the government to tell the truth anymore.
