I don't know about the claim about a war suspending national elections. National elections were held in 1864 (Civil War) and 1944 (World War II). Additionally, elections are administered by the states. How would the Feds enforce a suspension of elections, especially when most of the military is fighting overseas? That would leave the Federal police forces, which are not numerous enough to impel the states, especially the red ones, to cancel elections.
This crop of communist criminals running DC wield the lever of power never imagined during the Civil War. They will start WW3 (are orchestrating it now) so they can then declare Martial Law to keep from being displaced from their power. It’s what communist government thugs do and then they punish or kill any who oppose them; i.e. DJT and the J6 prisoners. I don’t have a crystal ball but I am certain that these criminals will never relinquish power and they are obviously scared to death of DJT.
