Any idea what the modern day equivalent of the Wild Weasel is called?
The F-16C has that mission now. AGM-88 is the missile. Big sucker- 13 feet รท/- long. High supersonic speed, smokeless. Death from above.
It’s much improved over the older versions the F-4 Wild Weasels carried. New ones are fire and forget- even if the radar stops radiating or changes frequency, the missile will hit within ~10m CPE. Usually closer.
