A lifelong registered Republican, I am now Indenpendent. I'll briefly change my status back so I can vote for Trump in the primary but it's going right back to Independent and the GOP will never get another dime out of me.
Thank God my state doesn’t have party registration.
The only thing is you have to ask for a ballot of one or the other party in the primary, right there while voting.
If there is a runoff, you’re supposed to only vote if you chose that party’s ballot earlier, but I don’t know how they can track that.

Absolutely the same thing I did. They send me fundraising emails, letters, I ignore them all now. They absolutely disgust me.
The entire time Trump was in office putting up with that Russia collusion hoax, and the constant slander, libel, defamation against him and his family and I can’t think of one Republican that stood up to help him.
Remember when he first took office in 2017, Republicans had both houses and the White house and they let Democrats stomp all over him with that hoax, it was absolutely disgusting, same with the fake impeachments and now the fake indictments.
They are the cowards of all cowards and I blame THEM more than Democrats for why things are going to hell.
The USA is a two party system where each party is suppose to keep the other in check so it doesn’t go off the rails. Well that’s exactly what happened, the Democrats do whatever they want no matter how insane it is and Republicans do nothing about it.
And don’t get me started on the backstabbers like Romney, Christie, Liz Cheney even GW Bush. It’s shocking how they help people who I personally consider domestic enemies of the country.
