Depending on what he is convicted of, I’m sure that DeSantis is correct. But I’m not sure why he needs to speak up about this now, but so be it.

This is no longer about politics - our Republic is being destroyed in front of our eyes and the GOP does NOTHING.

If the GOP refuses to back Trump than the GOP can go they way of the Whig party.

Looking at your account you seem obsessed with DeSantis.

And let’s hear from several people who refused to support Byron Donalds because of his past convictions, which were expunged over 20 years ago. Will they support a freshly convicted Trump? Maybe yes because he is white?

DeSantis is a puppet of the establishment. He has been bought and paid for.

Your position is all that DeSantis has done in FL is endorsed by the establishment GOPe? no effing way.

“But I’m not sure why he needs to speak up about this now, but so be it.”

He is speaking up about it now because that has been the plan all along.

He’s so excited he can’t keep it a secret any longer, although the cat has been out of the bag for at least a year

“too many Trump supporters that will not vote”

No one has enough true, dyed in the wool true believers to win a general election. Trump, like all of them, would need all hands on deck to win.
Alienating or attacking an entire bloc of voters is a campaign death wish for any of the candidates - and the only winner is four more years of Biden.

Sorry, I believe the RINO infested uniparty GOPe will do exactly that. They have 3 games running against him, corruption, interference and blue states attempting to get him off the ballot. Maybe more, but those are the big ones.
Log odds that he will beat all three.

WHile it will do about as good as pissing on a forest fire, I wrote our attorney general and governor ask about getting Biden taken off my red states ballot for 24. will it take signatures? Special legislation? a law?

That’s the advantage of being collectivists over being individualists.

Get the Dumb-Ass DeSanctis to realize he has no POTUS Future and stop his campaign and whole-heartedly endorse President Trump and the problem is solved, until then, whether you are right or wrong, and I don't think you are at all given current polling, we will be where we are are.

Trump write-ins would beat any gop candidate in that case.
GOP would have trouble staying afloat.

Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said he would not support the GOP nominating former President Donald Trump if he is convicted

What is the exact quote that Poor is paraphrasing?

DeSantis hoping Trump is convicted of the bogus charges is as pathetic as his presidential campaign.

The kid has lost his marbles.

“Are you trying to convince DeSantis supporters to sit at home on November 5, 2024?”

If you would stay home and let the Democrat win - just because we hurt your feelings - that’s on you.

“That’s the advantage of being collectivists over being individualists.”

The irony is you can only be an effective individualist if you work collectively with non-individualists and other individualists toward a mutual goal. Like the saying goes, WWG1WGAll.
