This could be considered legit. Since Trump decided to employ his family into a company that may be involved with the process, then they are in the cross hairs. If the New York State A.G.’s calls those that are tied into the process in number then it is a legit effort.
But I have personal knowledge that since the determination of a worth of a property falls under a select group of people that do in many cases determine worth based upon the surrounding area and not the individual property. Look at your property taxes. If a home in your area is sold and someone is willing to pay a price too high or a new home is built or improvement to the street around you is accomplished, it normally effects your property worth according to the people that make the decision on worth. The property you are on didn’t change. So why pay for something that had nothing to do with you except it may if you decide to sell. So they are speculating, not determining. And the stupidity of that is that if I have a small property in the middle of an expensive home area, and I put an outhouse on it, does that mean the improvement to the property should be based upon the guy next door that added landscape? It’s still unliveable.
