Ok this is potentially VERY interesting…
Apparently VinFast, is now not only considering sending their VF3 (the new (super)-mini electric car) to America in about a year, but it may even be partly made in America, qualifying it for the $7,500 rebate, in the USA…
Meaning the car, which which will actually sell for $20,000 in Vietnam, may actually sell for 12,500 in the USA. I say “may” because I am nowhere near as ready as the original poster, to say it will qualify as-is to be imported to the USA. But it IS a fascinating possibility.

Good looking (though tiny) car.
I very like this is Vietnamese, it is cheap, and it may actually be made in America.

Well done VinFast, if this is actually true.
If…
Can’t pass the DOT’s Safety requirements.
Too bad I don’t play golf nor live in The Villages....
Not sure I would trust a mini car to Tulsa highway traffic...
I heard Tesla will have an 18K model.
In my ‘hood I could use a snow plow...
[And I’d be happy to not have to shovel so much.]
Of course, lawn cutting would be a plus for a few months..
A Che attachment to off deserve-ant ‘Rats would be a plus....
Made by the Vietnamese Communists, for the people of the Vietnamese size.
Exceptionally ugly!
Do you know that, the Vietnamese people have the best opinions of Americans, in the whole world?
Just saying…
Very interesting.
It won’t be long now.
Aren’t Harley Davidson motorcycles made in Vietnam nowadays?
They have to meet US safety standards. That’ll make the car heavier and hence less efficient. Plus we ain’t got electric capacity. Just no. ICE is still best
toy car whose wheel base is smaller than a sheet of plywood ... should be fun to drive on the Interstate at 85mph ...
Tulsa? Good lord , humble your self
NO!
Harley-Davidson manufactures its motorcycles at factories in York, Pennsylvania; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Manaus, Brazil; Bawal, India; and Pluak Daeng, Thailand.
I guess they closed their factory in Europe.
Don’t be so stupid proud,
there is Tulsa traffic.

There is no instrument panel directly in front of the driver, everything has moved to a 15” touch screen in the center of the car.
Anything which requires the driver to distract his/her/their attention away from the road as they search for the information or control that they need is very dangerous, especially on crowded roads.
And when the sun is at the right angle, you won’t be able to see anything on the screen at all.
Very bad design.
