He was Former National Security Advisor of the United States. He must have had access to all classified information during that time. Information on compromised senators would certainly be information someone in his role would need to know and would have been provided to him.

Just because he was National Security Advisor does not mean information on compromised senators would be information he would have access to.
There is a huge difference between "should have" and "did have".
