I remember during and after 9-11, the media and politicians were so afraid that Americans would attack Muslims here in US. Over and over they repeated that most Muslims were not radical and that we should be understanding and tolerant.
I don’t think there were any problems. Mostly Americans were in shock and mourning. I remember I had vivid dreams for six months. Dreams of jumping out of WTC or seeing planes heading for me in the WTC.
No violence or even riots that I remember.
