Russia, a few days ago, welcomed on the red carpet two high-profile leaders of Iran and HAMAS :

Iran is attacking US forces right now, through its Hezbollah proxy in Syria. That "maybe" is a definite "yes".

Iran is and has been attacking US forces. Iran is and has been supported by Russia and vice versa. Iran supports Hamas. Etc. Russia has diplomatic ties with Hamas.

Russia is supported by China, North Korea, etc. and vice versa.
