Russia is not communist anymore. Even though Russia’s allies are 95% officially and spectacularly communists (North Korea, China, Belarus, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua).
However, while Russia may not be communist anymore, the Kremlin deep-state people are the direct descendents of the Soviet era apparatchiks. They have cloned their way of ruling, the abuse of power, the corruption, the massive political assassinations, the crack down on Russia’s citizens’ freedoms, etc... all based on old Soviet era algorithms and rituals to near perfection.
Thus, Russia is a neo-soviet entity.
Sovietism and its hardcore imperialist policies are totally incompatible with anyone having Ronald Reagan’s views on the world.

The EU was planned to be the first geo-political state of the New World Order. The only way to go forward with the New World Order was to get the world off of Oil ans the dollar. As part of this plan, the Democrats ( and Republican Uni-Party members) arranged a deal to allow Iran to sell oil to Germany and France at a reduced price, while we paid for the cost of that oil in the Kerry deals. Biden then, did everything that he could to kill the US Oil industry.
Democrats and the Uni-party are waging war against the US from within.

Yes. Putin lated miscalculated because he initially managed to take Crimea in 2014 with nearly zero reaction from the West, and especially Obama, this alone would later incite Putin to attack the rest of Ukraine...
But in the meantime came Trump, who managed to scare Putin enough in order to keep him at bay. That protected Ukraine for 4 more years of freedom from any further Russian invasions.
Then came weak Biden. Weakness often incite aggressors.
Putin was sure that Biden would probably be weaker than Obama.
But here is where things get interesting... Putin actually didn’t miscalculate in the absolut beginning of the (February 2022) war!
Because what did Biden do...? He urgently called Zelenski saying that America was ready to exfiltrate him to America!!
Thus letting Russia take over all of Ukraine.
So what did finally derail Putin’s diabolical plan of invasion of Ukraine? Well... Zelensky himself!
When Zelensky got the call from Biden to be exfiltrated... Zelensky just responded : “I need ammunition, not a ride.”
Thus, he decided to stay, even though Russian troops were starting to partly encircle Kiev. A nightmare scenario.
Then thanks to Trump’s previous Javelin deliveries to Ukraine (Obama had only sent blankets to Ukraine), courageous Ukrainian soldiers successfully managed to annihilate Russia’s first tank convoy. About 300 russian tanks destroyed. It was the beginning of Russia’s debacle.
It’s only after THAT, that Biden and Congress decided to pro-actively help Ukraine militarily and to take a stand.
And THat was the moment Putin miscalculated.

Yes.
For example if a russian citizen in Russia says Russia is at “WAR” with Ukraine. He will get 5 years in prison.
Only the words “Special Operation” is allowed.
Then you have the non-stop political assassinations on a near weekly basis in Russia - organized by the Kremlin.
All the oligarchs, politicians, journalists who had non-enthusiastic views about Putin’s “Special operation” have nearly all been assassinated already by the Kremlin : poisoned, falling from the 7th floor, car accident, “suicide”, etc... others are rotting in prison for 30 plus year... like Navalni for example.
Russia has become the Neo-Soviet-Union.
It is ruled today nearly as it was during the Stalin era.
