I’m in town for work, and it turns out this event is at the Venetian. Had the chance to talk to some of the attendees last night ( I had no idea that Trump was even coming to town), and these folks are, ah, animated. Of course, the most salient issues were the Hamas attacks, and the open anti Semitism we’ve seen since, but there seems to be very enthusiastic support for Trump, and least with this group. Well heeled, secular, classic Democrat demographic.
I asked if anyone thought if there could be a move toward the Reps and away from Biden, and got laughed at. The sentiment was not “if”, but only “how much”.
I hope this turns out to be the case.
