Kinda reminds me of Obama and Sloyrenda. Just another case of the Democrats taking care of the rich people they promise to tax and make sure they pay their fair share.

This is how real corruption takes place: government cash is ladled out to politically connected contractors who kick back campaign contributions, political support and who provide lucrative sinecures for retiring politicians, their family and staff.

HUD provides a great example. There are innumerable examples of how Dem politicians formed corporations for "urban renewal," got millions in grants and loans from HUD and then folded with no explanation of where the money went. The same is true for "green energy." Billions are ladled out, the money disappears, and the company goes tits up with zero accountability.

This is also why almost all whatever corruption is involved in Ukraine funding takes place in DC, not in Kiev.

...dependent on taxpayer handouts...

Taxation without representation. These liberal dems progressive programs do not represent my interests.

Government mandates, government subsidies, and government ignorance combined with the “battery problem” are killing the market and is even before you deal with the massive infrastructure shortcomings, the lack of recycling, fires, the inability to repair the vehicles, cost to replace batteries, rising insurance rates, and the fact that we are giving a large amount of our “green” (money) to the reds (CCP) who own the market.

I do see a lot of the Rivian suv’s here in Atlanta. Nice looking though I prefer my Ford F-150.

the name John Podesta and the word ‘clean’ in the same sentence is a bit too jarring for me. he exudes corruption and shadiness from his pores.

Could it be that he tried to see how to NOT do it?

I’ll bet not, and even give you odds.

The company is Rivian. That’s the company that builds electric trucks that will cost tens of thousands to repair after a minor accident.

https://www.theautopian.com/heres-why-that-rivian-r1t-repair-cost-42000-after-just-a-minor-fender-bender/

That company should go under, and in no circumstances should the taxpayers bail them out.

Wait a minute. I thought Podesta was Biden's Spirit Soup and Comet Pizza pedophile czar?

I will never forget the statement from the analyst who examined the Solyndra $$ Federal handout. He predicted correctly, to the date, when Solyndra would collapse. Solyndra was selling products at a specific loss per each item. Performing basic math, he estimated accurately, the date of closure, the date the money would run out. I happened to be listening to KSFO in San Francisco on the morning of the closure. A Solyndra employee called the radio show and described the mayhem. All the employees had been called in for a meeting. They announced their shutdown. Spending other people’s money is so easy for some people (as long as they get their 10%)

It’s worse than that.
Democrats form the companies, grant them no-bid contracts, supply them with taxpayer dollars, then bankrupt the companies, after stripping the cash out for themselves.
Rinse & repeat.
