I was a huge Reagan fan back in the day, but let's face it, that was another age in a different world. To anybody under 50, Reagan means very little, he is either some guy they read about in history class, or the guy that was president when they were kids. I know it's hard for me to believe, but Reagan hasn't held office for nearly 35 years at this point, and hasn't even been alive for nearly 20

That is to say, bringing up Reagan (on the left or the right) doesn't have the resonance it did 25 years ago. Most people just shrug and say "Oh, that guy that was president a long time ago?"

It’s like bringing up FDR today. 40 years ago, Rats worshipped him, only a matter of time before he gets cancelled too.
