“So he really doesn’t believe in what he is saying?”
I don’t think it means he doesn’t really believe in what he’s saying.
I’m not sure if virtue signaling is what he’s doing. He’s showing empathy towards those (the good ones) coming here.
After all if I was born in a third world hell hole and could walk somewhere to a better life I would.
The fault is in the corrupt communists in charge of our country creating the incentives for them to come here. All for their own lust of permanent power.
Tucker Carlson is basically just a higher functioning version of most people around here, or at least a more visible member of society. We could all say the same things, but to very few listeners. I would like to see him as president of the United States. If not Trump, then afterwards. Perhaps he could be Trump’s running mate, and move on to the presidency. Probably too honest a person for politics, I suppose, but then you could say that about Reagan and Trump also.
What difference does that make? I guess virtue signallers, such as yourself, are birds of feather.
