Mail-in voting has made the secret ballot a thing of the past. That will be the death of democracy, with new threats from the far left.
Loss of secrecy is one of the worst but hardly ever discussed dangers with mail-in voting. What do you think is going to happen in light of recent reports of leftists openly threatening to “deprogram” and persecute Trump voters?
Do leftists ever feel any shame for what they have done to this country by voting for the current regime and tacitly supporting it with their silence?
Dinesh D’Souza was recently on the Glenn Beck Program discussing his new film, Police State, going through the features of this kind of regime, with many uncannily already in place, as brought on by Biden or his hidden handler therein.
This is from people who still have the chutzpah to falsely label themselves as “liberals.” We’ve noticed that most of the pro-freedom side has refrained from calling them that, but leftists persist in maintaining the lie.
Recent weeks have also seen Hillary Clinton go full authoritarian in declaring that she wants to “deprogram” her political opponents — in other words, more than half the country, presumably in some camps, where we would be “concentrated.” Meanwhile, there was a report that the FBI, the once pre-eminent law enforcement organization in the world, has its eye on Trump-supporters — moving this once august organization into the realm of infamous secret police organizations used to strike fear in the people: KGB, Gestapo, Stasi, AVO, MSS, Sabine.
Naturally, the national socialist media denied this report with one-line editorials such as “The obvious holes in the ‘FBI targets Trump supporters’ story.”

I read a while back that no other major country in the world, such as France, does not allow mail-in voting.
BUT BUT BUT...
In Oregon they give a “secrecy” envelope with your name, signature, and address on the outside with your “secret” ballot in another envelope inside. SO WAY someone would throw out votes they don’t like because it’s “secret” with no way to follow up. And surprise surprise no republicans win where it matters.
AND I have witness, with my own eyes, Oregon mailing ballots to non citizens in my office. When confronted the county clerk is STRICTLY forbidden from confirming citizenship status. And thanks to motor voter I am sure illegals receive ballots by the truck load. AND, with same day registration and voting all the bums along I5 (Eugene, Salem, Portland, Medford) have their votes collected and moved to cities and counties that need a few extra votes to get the democrat in office.
As Jimmy Carter’s investigative committee many years ago recommended, mail-in voting is to be discouraged because it is one of the easiest ways to commit election fraud (which is exactly why the Democrats are pushing the idea).
They had to make Americans believe the Black Death was sweeping the country, and if you went outside and stood in line to vote, you'd be risking your life.
There will NEVER be a conservative/MAGA candidate elected to president/senate/house again as long as these cheat-by-mail-in ballots without any enforced signature verification are allowed.
We saw the pattern in 2020 and again in 2022. The MAGA candidate is ahead on the night of Election Day, and then the count is slow-walked for a week until enough mail-ins are found/produced to put the Democrat ahead by a nose.
And RINO Squishes are fine and dandy with it as long as it keeps MAGA candidates from being elected.
If they made it legal in all 50 states, then boycott the elections. Then it will become illegitimate.

The left always believe the ends justify the means. Their only regret, ever, is failing to cheat, or getting caught and punished (as rare as that is)
Mail in voting should be illegal for federal elections with exemptions for age and disabilities.

I really don’t like mail in voting, my concern is that I can’t be sure my vote was recorded.
However I have no problem with early voting if the same process is followed as for on the day voting. During the 2020 election our early voting location had very long lines (over an hour at least) initially. At some point during the time it was open, middle of the day, my wife went past and the line was short. She called me, I work from home , so I took my lunch early went out, voted and was back home in 35 minutes.
It was all the same process as election day voting. As long as no voting results come out before election day I am OK with that format.
When you vote absentee, your ballot will be encoded with a number that can be traced back to a particular voter, but that data can only be accessed by the registrar under court order. The database will not be accessible by county clerk staff or election volunteers.
All secrecy envelopes with signatures will be required to be preserved for 1 year following an election, and will be made available for examination by all party poll watchers.
If a party wishes to contest a ballot signature, then the issue would be adjudicated by a court and if the plaintiff prevails, the judge can order the votes from the successfully challenged ballot be removed from the totals. Because the individual absentee ballot is coded to each voter, that ballot can be retrieved and its cast votes nullified.
You don't like not having a secret ballot? Then show up at a polling place in person with ID, and you can then cast a secret ballot.
Up in the Great NW mail-in voting has been used for a couple of decades, maybe a bit longer. It is no coincidence that for most of that time no R has won any significant political office.

The manifest corruption and fraud of mass mail-in voting was sold, as always, as a “civil rights” and also a “safety” issue.
Democrats and the Left sell literally everything as a “civil rights” issue - which is why they must, be all means, keep blacks on the Dem Plantation. without them, they lose their fig-leaf.
The system is designed to perpetuate fraud. Cities like Philly, Detroit, Atlanta haven’t had an honest election for dog catcher in a 100yrs.
Technology -blockchain exists that would dramatically increase election security-neither party seems to care enough.

Kalifornia paved the way, demonstrated to all the democRATS that they could truly accomplish: it’s not the votes (ballots) that counts, it is who counts the votes.
When I saw the video of those election ‘staff’ taking CASES of ballots from under tables and shoving them all into machines, I knew what I already suspected was true. They had shut down the counting and kicked everyone else out.
In Kalifornia, they instituted statewide mail-in balloting years ago. They gave the illegal trespassers a ‘right’ to a driver license, and instituted Motor Voter registration. During the Governor recall campaign, there were ballot drop-off boxes everywhere. Three minutes after the election was over, the Kalifornia Governor declared himself the winner. There were millions of ballots still to be counted, but Newsom already had arranged his victory.
