One of the things that gives me pause is that SC abandoned the Federal common core standards 9 years ago but replaced them with their own version of common core.

Ideally, local governance is the best choice. A solution perhaps when local, as fully federal, governance becomes in thrall to Leftist perversions is that some other little "federal" entity, i.e. the state within the federal system, seems to be powerful enough to resist the federal government. as well as resist the little, local Leftists. We shall see.
