Not a big frequenter of bowling allies, but I would guess that most or all are licensed to serve beer.

I am a frequenter of bowling alleys...and so are a lot of LEO’s. Even the former chief of police used to join us around town for various tournaments.

I wonder if there were any cops bowling last night?
