It’s not an attractive place. We put our center there because we could “steal” LL Bean reps—who were very well trained—and there were a lot of folks in need of a job.
They tried to get us to hire Somalis when they were moved in. It was hard enough dealing with Mainer accents…Somalis were not going to cut it on the phone. And that was almost 25 years ago.
