Too many Adderall and Xanax seekers to have time to really screen and take care of the truly mentally ill.

Seems like you have 100 of those guys like that for one truly crazy person who needs to be medicated and monitored for life. Our mental health system is crap, we should be providing more funding for it. But not sure how it'll work because it's easy to throw dollars at a problem and nothing will get done.

I believe that the first priority of our mental health facilities is to free up beds. It is a higher priority than providing quality care imo. They want you out as soon as they absolutely can. And if the law mandates a 72 hour hold, they hold you 72 hours and 3 seconds.
