At least in my state, a judge could not do this.

If a defendant is accused of contempt that did not occur in the judge’s presence in open court, then the contempt proceeding MUST occur in front of a second judge.

With stuff like this, or “contempt of court”, the judge can punish you again and again and again if you don’t comply with their dictates.
