Until 2009, CIS was boldly Conservative.
CIS was probably the most influential political organization in the USA on immigration issues during the Bush-McCain Amnesty abomination from 2005-2008.
In 2009, the Southern Poverty Law Center labeled CIS a Hate Group.
Corporate and Institutional funding for CIS instantly disappeared.
CIS sued SPLC, but the litigation never resulted in anything consequential.
CIS stopped all their political activities and focused 100% on academic studies and expert testimony, and they also hired several center-left academics, which was (and still is) heartbreaking.
This CIS whistle blowing intiative is completely unexpected.
However, the CIS reference to "America's broken immigration system" is very discouraging.
Our system is not broken.
It is NOT enforced.
Yup! Too many invaders are entering the country.
