Wow. IMO, this is very similar to what has happened in the West. Prosperous, fat, and lazy. People, youth especially, completely self-absorbed with Tik Tok and Instagram. Don’t really want to work. Have no desire or concern about self control and personal sacrifice. All that is left are militaries with a facade of capability. A hollowed out illusion more concerned with climate change and personal pronouns than in guarding and protecting their own society.
Gaza is a dense, vertical urban area with some open areas here and there. Not a desert at all.
The tunnels must be neutralized because they are the center of the hummus strategy both logistically and as places to launch attacks.
I don’t know. Pics that I’ve seen show areas that are very urban, but I’d think the IDF is as well-trained for this as you can get, which still may not be enough.
