Former President Donald Trump's final chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, has spoken with special counsel Jack Smith's team at least three times this year, including once before a federal grand jury, which came only after Smith granted Meadows immunity to testify under oath, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The sources said Meadows informed Smith's team that he repeatedly told Trump in the weeks after the 2020 presidential election that the allegations of significant voting fraud coming to them were baseless, a striking break from Trump's prolific rhetoric regarding the election.
According to the sources, Meadows also told the federal investigators Trump was being "dishonest" with the public when he first claimed to have won the election only hours after polls closed on Nov. 3, 2020, before final results were in.

He’s lying.
I wasn’t criticizing at all. Just adding a comment.
It shows how politics only draws scumbags and crooks. Most good and honest people don’t want anything to do with politics. Just look at what the corrupt media and government are doing to president Trump while they protect a real criminal like Biden. 81 million votes. What a load of Hillary.
My apologies. They cheated a little harder in those states than they did in AZ, GA and WI.

For the past year and a half there were suspicions throughout Trumpworld and beyond that Meadows was wearing a wire for the feds
Now many saying that has been confirmed today

Can’t help what he said. Let’s see what he says now.
I’m not sure if this is true, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
So, Trump isn’t at all responsible for the fact that every hire and appointee is an inept, gigantic piece of shit, incapable of doing a good job.
Whatever gets you through the night.
So Mark voiced his opinion. So what?
Is Meadows now claiming that his book is a work of fiction?
I’m curious to know what Meadows’ explanation for the five-state “pause” in vote-counting in the wee hours on election night.... that resumed, almost as if “in-sync”, after sending observers away. I’m betting he’d say that was “perfectly normal”, if not the “new normal” in Amerika.
Story I heard on another thread was that some talking head from CBS said their story WAS NOT ACCURATE. Don’t know what exactly that means, but we shall see.
This guy had an opinion that was different than that guy’s opinion. Very important.
>>”So, Trump isn’t at all responsible for the fact that every hire and appointee is an inept, gigantic piece of shit, incapable of doing a good job.”
Not every hire was bad. There were some good ones. But a number of them weren’t. Do you blame Trump for that? or do you blame it on the fact that the swamp runs very deep in Washington? or a little of both?
Draining the swamp was never going to be a quick fix. Some put all the blame on Trump’s hires while ignoring the fact that the vast majority of malfeasance was perpetrated by the permanent Washington class, who were not hired by Trump and have been in their positions for years such as McCabe, Strozk, Page, etc. and countless others whose names we don’t even know.
Jeff Sessions was an example of an honest man with good intentions who was in over his head and couldn’t control the insubordinate subordinates who were running things behind his back, so finding someone who’s honest but can also handle the daunting task of countering all the rogue elements under their purview is not as easy as it may sound.
What crime has been committed?
You deserve the blame because Trump has no faults. One of his superpowers is selecting staff. He has super hero trading cards to prove it. /s
I saw it with my own eyes on election night and the next day. I think you’re on the wrong forum... go to Democraticunderground.com for a better fit.
Exactly what I would have written.
I remember Slick Willie saying something like “You’ll never find evidence that I was involved in”.... not a denial, but it was closer to “you’ll never get me coppa” than I flat out did not do that.
the testimony means nothing. he could be telling the truth that he told Trump, but that doesn’t mean anything other than he offered Trump his opinion.
every president gets opinions from different angles.
this is a leak from the morons on the left to the fake news intended to bash trump, but when looked at through a reasonable prism, you realize this is a nothingburger.
