The plan was to get rid of McCuckthy (thus 15 votes and the agreement to allow one member to call to vacate) because he’s a backstabbing liar liberal from California.
Accomplished. The RINOs lose.
I'm not a major fan of McCarthy, and I absolutely do not mind that he's finally 'replaced'.
That said, the time to do this is when we voters elect Reps who will actually elect an acceptable SOTH.
There is a reason that 208 Democrats voted for removal, and that is the chaotic weakening of our only foothold in DC.
Hopefully we (the House GOPers) can unify and perform. It will take some stellar leadership.
