OK, so what’s the plan, Stan?

Is the idea to shut down the government after Nov. 17th? If so, is there anything in the works to pay law enforcement and the military?

Many non-essential government employees are temporarily furloughed during a shutdown, while essential personnel whose funding is not dependent on annual appropriations bills – such as military service members, law enforcement agents, and air traffic controllers – continue to work.
