Every trial has a certain amount of show. I believe that there are credible reasons for this trial. As for guilt and innocence the trial will bear that out. So far, those who haven’t made deals are more claiming they had the right to do it, not they didn’t do it. How they articulate that will be interesting. They may prevail. I don’t believe they will.

You must not have very much experience or very much observation of trials. I am aware of far too many trials that were utterly botched. Innocent men being convicted is far too common.

Not with an Atlanta Jury they won't. It doesn't matter what the charges, an Atlanta Jury will convict them. They would operate just like a DC jury.
Put these trials in a conservative state, and they wouldn't even dare bring these charges. They are only engaging in this because they know they can get away with it using their biased juries in Atlanta.
