He Was Once a Favorite of the Right. Now, Mike Pence Can’t Get a Crowd of 15 to a Pizza Ranch.

The former vice president has gone all out to win Iowa. But is anyone listening?

Inside Penn Drug, an old pharmacy and lunch counter in rural Sidney not far from Iowa’s southern border, a smattering of retirees gather each morning to gripe about the world’s problems. Today, two dozen of them wearing Mike Pence stickers, had convened. I wondered, had I walked into the biggest room of Pence stans in Iowa since his June announcement? (That event featured about 200 former staffers, relatives and local Republicans.)

Among the crowd in Sidney sat Dave Heywood, a 66-year-old who had “retired from pretty much everything.” He and one of his friends told me that despite the stickers, they weren’t necessarily Pence supporters. But they had received them from one of Pence’s “gals” — referencing either a volunteer or a paid staffer — and in the tradition of Midwestern politeness they stuck them to their shirts.

Heywood told me he had met Pence no fewer than eight times in recent months. “A hell of a nice guy,” he told me — though he said he was “really a Trump guy...

It’s difficult to find a political prognosticator who is not on his payroll who gives Pence any plausible shot at winning the nomination, a reality he acknowledged on the trail earlier this month. “The media has already decided how all this is going to end,” he told just 13 people at a Pizza Ranch in Red Oak. “But as you all know, I think Iowa has a unique opportunity to give our party, give our country a fresh start.” He encouraged them to “keep an open mind.”

Who’s paying Pence to campaign in Iowa? Lockheed Martin? Boeing?

Mike Pence is a man who said many lofty things, but when his finest hour came, he allowed cowardice to take hold and sold out the United States, and for what? Fear of what the left might do? Fear that he wouldn’t be favored?

Because of this man’s inability to do the right and noble thing, America was sold into at best four years of decay and rot, and at worst, condemned to destruction by those who hate our very existence, and seek politicide for us.

If she should survive it, he will go down in the annals of history along side men like Benedict Arnold as the traitor he is. And if we don’t? In the words of that insufferable harridan, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Mikey hasn’t figured out the gig yet. That room represents his total chance at the Presidensey! /s He is funded by a bunch of people with money to create a story line. He is too stupid to even see how he is being used. His advisors have to be some of the dumbest people to walk the planet earth. Mike, give it up. Retire. You have fallen. You are a tool of the left. As long as you talk badly about President Trump you will have a voice at the lefty/RINO table. In the land of the free people you are just a stage prop to be used for propaganda purposes by the left and Trump haters.

Fun fact for Judas pence.

When Benedict Arnold made it back to merry old England

,, they hated his guts too..

“In 1785, Arnold gave up. He would never be considered English; he would never again be considered American. He decided to emigrate to Canada ...”

Gaza would probably take pence ...

( birds of a feather )

LOL!

Reminds me of attending a rally where the speakers were Dick Cheney and Colin Powell - a crowd of thousands. late summer2000.

As I was leaving the venue, noticed a few people watching a rival speaker. It was John - I served in Vietnam - Kerry. About 20 people. LOL!

This is how clueless the children at Politico are. Pence was never “a favorite of the right”. The rap on him was he was a deep state coward. Since 20 he has proven he is that plus an ungrateful back stabber.

What could Pence possibly have done? It was already over. The most he could do was preside over Congress while it rejected Ted the challenges.

I liked and respected Pence as long as he was on the MAGA train.

Then I found out that he was working quietly to put on the brakes.

Sorry, bro, “polite” politics is a remnant of a bygone era when people agreed on the goals but disagreed how to get there.

Now, it’s an illegal cage match to the death.

The psuedo-right and Never-Trumpers on the right. There was a time in 2016 the GOP establishment and their media surrogates were all over the place announcing they wanted out Trump and Pence in after the Access Hollywood Tape. He was their guy. Mike Lee was one of them. Then all during Trump’re presidency they were trying to get Trump out and Pence in. And before the end he got along with Trump so it wasn’t the same as it is now. He would call in to talk radio and people would be thrilled to hear from him because he was Trump’s VP, and he was looked as a possible Trump successor. Those days are over. Pence has lost all support.

Pence, you are a turn coat Deep State worthless (words I won’t use here).

One of the biggest mistakes Trump made is he brought too many wishy-washy wimps or right out leftists into his inner circle thinking he could work with them. Think President Trump has learned that lesson the hard way.

Back to Pence: Please go away and shut up. Or don’t. I (and likely most here) really don’t care — you are irrelevant now.
