We'll be under totalitarian control sooner than that timeline. Even more than the impending confiscation, I'm worried about the robots. Think about it - within a decade or so the DS will be cranking out ED-209s that will be basically impervious to gunfire. And when they give you twenty seconds to comply most are going to drop the gun.
