There’s no redemption for THEM.

I’m referring to the great unwashed who ignore the turds swirling down the toilet bowl of this nation and don’t fight back.

There are some waking up, of course. Parents versus school boards, for example, but the Left sicced the FBI on them. See my tagline on the FIB.

The graphic is the very definition of “blissful ignorance” in the face of danger looming. And I am wondering if those that are asleep to reality are living happier lives, before the disaster strikes, than we are. It’s the old, eternal conflicting choice and issue of knowledge vs. innocence.

Which is better for a happy life? Perhaps mankind is not meant to have a ‘happy life’ since mankind chose to eat of the forbidden fruit of that tree of knowledge.

Can it be... that those that are currently blissfully ignorant of reality these days “choose” to be that way in defiance of the truth...?

I choose to face and accept the reality. Only then can you at least try to be prepared for what’s coming. Isn’t that better than being caught unaware with your pants down when disaster strikes? Or... is the constant threat looming over your head like the Sword of Damocles your punishment for having chosen “knowledge” over innocence. Hmmm...things to ponder...

Conservative columnists (Patricia McCarthy and Christopher Bedford) are making similar points:

Speaker McCarthy did very little to stop Biden/Obama's destruction of the country.

Gaetz is taking the resultant wrath. A Speaker Jim Jordan would have taken down much of the DC graft and RINOs who have fought tooth and nail to stop him.

But now we definitively know who these 25 RINO slimes are

They must be defeated, next Nov. at the latest, or sooner via public pressure and threats of primary challenges.

Rep. Don Bacon, of Nebraska, voted for Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry, of North Carolina.
Rep. Vern Buchanan, of Florida, voted for Rep. Byron Donalds, of Florida.
Rep. Ken Buck, of Colorado, voted for Rep. Tom Emmer, of Minnesota.
Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRamer, voted for McHenry.
Rep. Anthony D'Esposito, of New York, voted for former Rep. Lee Zeldin.
Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, of Florida, voted for Rep. Steve Scalise, of Louisiana.
Rep. Jake Ellzey, of Texas, voted for Rep. Mike Garcia, of California.
Rep. Drew Ferguson, of Georgia, voted for Scalise.
Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, of Pennsylvania, voted for McHenry.
Rep. Andrew Garbarino, of New York, voted for Zeldin.
Rep. Carlos Giménez, of Florida, voted for Rep. Kevin McCarthy, of California.
Rep. Tony Gonzales, of Texas, voted for Scalise.
Rep. Kay Granger, of Texas, voted for Scalise.
Rep. John James, of Michigan, voted for Donalds.
Rep. Thomas Kean, of New Jersey, voted for McCarthy
. Rep. Mike Kelly, of California, voted for Scalise.
Rep. Jennifer Kiggans, of Virginia, voted for McHenry.
Rep. Nick LaLota, of New York, voted for Zeldin.
Rep. Michael Lawler, of New York, voted for McHenry.
Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, of Iowa, voted for McHenry.
Rep. Marcus Molinaro, of New York, voted for Zeldin.
Rep. John Rutherford, of Florida, voted for Scalise.
Rep. Michael Simpson, of Idaho, voted for Scalise.
Rep. Pete Stauber, of Minnesota, voted for Rep. Bruce Westerman, of Arkansas.
Rep. Steve Womack, of Arkansas, voted for Scalise.

It is acknowledged that some of these votes cast were for worthy candidates, but they denied the will of the people demanding Jordan step in and begin the process of dismantling the rot of DC.

The problem with most of these representatives is they are from purple to blue areas that would rather vote democrat than a true conservative.

We could lose most of these states and Hakim, Pelosi, Nadler, Adam Schitt, et al and the Squad are back in charge.

It worries me that the democrats get the House back, just in time for Trump to win back the White House, then we get at least 2 more years of dum bass impeachment hearing egged on by the DNCMedia.

Thanks for posting. Needed to be done. My rep is sadly one of them. He will hear from many of us here in the Keys. Problem is in our area=Dade/Monroe counties if you don’t have a spare couple of million and lots of media recognition already you need not apply.

Actually I have no doubt that the country will overwhelmingly vote Republican net year. Whether the votes will be stolen or not is yet another question.

Gen. Jack Keane says Hamas has bigger and better missiles headed toward Israel. They now have thousands of missiles ready to be fired. Keane says Iran is calling all the major terror moves of the hezzies or hamas.

Keane works for Fred Kagan at the Institute for the Study of War. Kagan is the brother-in-law of Victoria Nuland, currently number 2 at the State Department and the architect under Obama/Biden of the 2014 coup of the duly elected government of Ukraine, which spawned the separtist movement in the Donbas and the first unopposed Russian invasion that led to the annexation of Crimea.

Fred Kagan and his Institute are part of the neocon war machine. This October 3, 2023 article, Weakness Is Lethal: Why Putin Invaded Ukraine and How the War Must End, represents the thinking of the Uniparty. It is worth reading, especially the diplomatic back and forth between Russia and the US in the months leading up to the invasion in Feb 2022. The vast majority of Americans have no knowledge of these discussions, which were not covered by the MSM. I am convinced more than ever that this war could have been avoided. This is how Kagan says the war must end:

An enduring end to the current Russian war on Ukraine requires forcing Putin to accept defeat. He—and his successors—must be made to realize that they cannot impose their will on Ukraine and the West militarily, cannot suborn Ukraine politically, and cannot prevail diplomatically. As long as the Kremlin cherishes the hope of success—which any face-saving compromise settlement would fuel—it will continue to seek to overcome its setbacks in ways that make renewed war very likely.

Ukraine and the West should seek a permanent end to this conflict, not a temporary respite. Renewed war will likely be larger in scale and even more dangerous to Ukraine and the West. It will be extremely costly as well since a renewed war once Moscow has rearmed and prepared will likely be far costlier and more dangerous. Demands to reduce the financial burden of supporting Ukraine now simply store up greater risk and expense for the future.

There is no path to real peace other than helping Ukraine inflict an unequivocal military defeat on Russia and then helping to rebuild Ukraine into a military and society so strong and resilient that no future Russian leader sees an opportunity like the ones Putin misperceived in 2014 and 2022. This path is achievable if the West commits to supporting Ukraine in the prolonged effort likely needed to walk down it. If the West is instead lured by the illusion of some compromise, it may end the pain for now, but only at the cost of much greater pain later. Putin has shown that he views compromise as surrender, and surrender emboldens him to reattack. >b>This war can only end not when Putin feels that he can save face, but rather when he knows that he cannot win.

This is the prognosis for an endless war.

IMO Iran will not get directly involved in this war. They will use their surrogate, Hezbollah, to respond. It is unclear as to the extent of Hezbollah's response. I am more concerned about the US response. If we become directly involved in the war, it will have long term consequences that will not serve our interests. Israel should be able to deal with both Hamas and Hezbollah.

June 14, 2022--Today, the European Commission has approved a new bilateral allocation to Palestine worth €224.8 million. This new assistance package will support the Palestinian Authority and crucial projects in the occupied Palestinian territory. This package complements previous contributions, such as €92 million to support UNRWA, bringing the total EU assistance to the Palestinians in 2021 to €317 million. This does not include a further €25 million in humanitarian funding announced in May.

With a view to fostering sustainable economic development in occupied Palestinian territory and reducing aide dependency, €30.5 million are allocated to private sector development. This support will target key Palestinian economic sectors that have the potential to stimulate inclusive economic growth and will enhance digitalisation, diversification of trade and innovation, thus boosting the economy. It will also contribute to the economic recovery efforts in Gaza, notably supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as reconstructing and developing damaged economic infrastructure.

Moreover, in this package the EU has earmarked €10 million for two major infrastructure projects in Gaza that are part of the EU’s flagship projects under the EU’s Economic and Investment plan for the Southern Neighbourhood: the gas for Gaza pipeline and the Gaza central desalination plant related works.

Finally and in line with EU commitment towards gender related issues, €3 million will promote gender responsive policies and laws in the occupied Palestinian territory.

BRUSSELS Oct 9, 2023 -- The European Union late Monday reversed an earlier announcement by an EU commissioner that the bloc was “immediately” suspending development aid for Palestinian authorities and instead said it would urgently review such assistance in the wake of the attacks on Israel by Hamas to make sure no money was misused.

“There will be no suspension of payments” at the moment, a terse European Commission statement said late Monday, five hours after EU Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi had said that all payments from the development program for Palestinians would be “immediately suspended. All projects put under review. All new budget proposals … postponed until further notice.”

No immediate explanation for the reversal was given. A full European Commission statement always trumps a statement from an EU commissioner, but the reversal on a 691 million-euro ($730 million) program capped an embarrassing day at the EU’s executive at a time of extreme geopolitical sensitivities.

"JUST IN: Percentage of subprime auto borrowers 60+ days past due on loans hits a record 6.1% in September.

This is the highest delinquency rate of all time, even above the 6.0% peak in 1994 and 5.0% in 2008.

The return of student loan payments has added pressure to many of these borrowers.

Average student loan payments are at $500/month and the average new car payment is at $740/month.

This means just to buy a car and pay off your student loans, the average American is spending $1,240/month.

Delinquency rates will continue to rise.

China continues to dump US Treasuries by the amount of tens of billions per month. In August, China unloaded another $16.4 billion of US Treasuries. Since their peak roughly a decade ago, China has unloaded nearly $500 billion of US Treasuries. All as the Fed raises rates and US deficit spending is now above World War 2 levels. The flight away from US Treasuries is historic.

Agreed. Biden/Obamaics ensures a D ass-kicking. I see no other sentiment.

Cheating will be present but less-so. Trump hate will be present but less-so.

Even a wag-the-dog war in which war-time presidents are re-elected won’t work this time. And, I do worry we will be dragged into some sort of war with Iran by then.

As to money needed to challenge RINOs: It’s not only campaign money, but the money coming from lobbyists to buy anti MAGA votes and keep the skids greased.

EXCLUSIVE: Joe Biden paid nearly $2.75million CASH for Rehoboth Beach house within weeks of Hunter sending 'threatening' text to Chinese business partner demanding to close $10million deal

And making the transaction even stranger it was within weeks of a highly questionable text that Hunter had sent to Runlong 'Raymond' Zhao, an associate at Chinese oil giant CEFC asking to seal a deal worth $10 million a year.

Vladimir Putin announced that in connection with the deployment of two American groups of ships in the Mediterranean Sea, that the Russian Aerospace Forces are starting permanent patrols of MiG-31 aircraft with "Kinzhal" complexes (according to him, they have a range of over 1000 kilometers at a speed of Mach nine) in the neutral zone of the airspace above the Black Sea.

For me the mid-east has always been a huge cluster and near impossible to even understand unless you are one of the aggrieved parties. My take has always been to get the hell out of there and don't go back.

both Israel and Ukraine perfect examples. As long as Zelensky is heading up the country and getting all kinds of money to launder I question whether he will ever want peace? Much less a peace that makes him the winner and Putin the loser. I don't see that happening.

As for Putin I think he and Trump could negotiate a peace treaty in no time but I don't know anyone else who could. Once again we need the return of Trump. It's the only answer I see for the region. Biden is only there for obama who is oriented toward muslims not the US. All the players in the region know it as well. He will do obamas bidding and it won't be helpful to us.

So it looks like a no-win situation to me regardless of what we do. Under obama/biden iran will only get stronger not so if Trump returns. I wish I had answers but I don't. One of the worst things to come is when Israel finally has to do battle with terrorists in the tunnels. No way at all to tell how that will end if it ever does.
