As per Solzhenitsyn, even in the Gulags the Communist party bureaucrats (Jewish or not) still believed that their incarceration was all a mistake and sooner or later Comrade Stalin would release them. For some people, no amount of reality can penetrate what they wish to be true. There seems to be a principle at work here that if you walk away from revealed truth, or you’re not all that concerned about pursuing it, you are in great danger of believing that which will destroy you. The battered wife that still believes ‘he’ll change’ or the liberal Jew that believes there’s a political solution for the demonically inspired hatred against them, they don’t seem to see what is plain to everyone else. It’s very sad for the Jews and I know things are only going to get worse for them.

There seems to be a principle at work in life that if you walk away from revealed truth you are very likely to believe in that which will destroy you in the end. The battered wife that believes ‘he’ll change’ or the liberal Jewish person that believes there’s a political solution to the demonically inspired hatred behind those that want to eradicate them from the earth. They seem to not see what is obvious to those around them. We’re all blind in many ways - Jew and Gentile - until we come to the Lord Jesus and agree with His assessment of us - and his solution. It’s only going to get worse for the Jewish people. But it’s going to get bad for all of us too. Not hard to believe that God is drawling things to a close - and I think soon. Prayers for our Jewish friends that God removes the vale from their eyes.
