BREAKING NEWS: Kenneth Chesebro, alleged architect of the “fake electors” plot, has struck a plea deal with prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia, per source familiar with the arrangement.
Chesebro is set to plead guilty to at least one felony charge as a part of the deal, the source told @lawfare.

You realize the link you posted said the commission ran for about 1 year from 2017 to 2018 long before the 2020 election and when the 250 million was raised for election integrity.
You realize one President has no obligation to follow what another President has done, especially when it comes to executive orders.
Trump may have authorized a commission for 1 year, Biden could just as easily eliminate the commission, which he did to most of the Trump agenda.
It's over. I've made my peace with it.
Unless something drastic happens, the United States of Banana will be having the "cleanest elections evah" from here on out.
I study this stuff on FR.
It’s quite amazing.
I’d be willing to be that they are also the ones that have come out against Gaetz, support McCarthy and the status quo, and are happy with the 25 “Republicans” that have voted against Jordan.
He pled because there is zero chance of acquiring a 'jury of his peers' in Fulton County.
Note that every bit of lawfare against President Trump is not just lawfare, but the complete inability to seat an impartial jury in Fulton County, in Manhattan, and the District of Columbia.
There is no cure for this other than retribution under TrumpII.
Most of that I agree with, except for studying this stuff on FR, that’s bad for your health, it causes brain damage.
I'm fine, so far.
I’m fine as well. Echo chambers are not good for you.
I agree.
One should stay away from the Media echo chambers on cable news, in newspapers and on their IPhones that tell us that there is NO vote fraud/ballot fraud/election fraud - except in Connecticut mayoral races or against Democrat gubernatorial candidates in Georgia.
Those echo chambers don't cause brain damage - voluntary consumption is an indication of congenital brain damage.
Oh, dear - you aren't having issues with that, are you? Certain "news" sources can actually accelerate the congenital condition.
I spend most of my day getting news on FR, is that an issue. I also watch Steve Bannon’s War Room daily, now that could be an issue.
Trump abandoned all of these people so you can't really blame them for turning.
They're facing decades in a Georgia prison. Trump is facing house arrest at Mar-A-Lago.
The prosecution saves the time and expense of a lengthy trial......I’ll challenge the expense part. They prosecution, judge and court staff get paid regardless. They aren’t billing by the hour. They get paid whether they’re in a courtroom or in their office perusing Facebook.
However, the “time” part does play the most important part. When they have felony cases stacked to the roof in every courtroom, depending on the severity of the crime and the recidivism of the defendant they’re disposing of these cases as fast as they can. Courts, especially the ones in the cities and counties that have a lot of crime, it’s more of an assembly line.
Having dealt with the Fulton County DAs office, they wheel and deal all day long. Folks would be shocked at what they offer and hand out.
IE...offer a plea to a repeat drug trafficker...plea to 10/serve 2...that means, on paper, drug dealer pled guilty and got a 10 yr sentence...’serve 2’ means that he’ll only serve 2 years of them. And, if he was in the Fulton County jail, awaiting trial, for a few months, however long he sat in the jail(if he did) is subtracted from his 2 year sentence. And if he’s good in prison, he’s out in less than whatever the remainder is. So, in effect, he might only spend 6 months in a state prison.
The GOPee dog Kemp is the dog that ain't barking.
Sez a lot to me.
Everything happening in Georgia is because of kemp, Raffensberger, Carr and their cronies.
If folks outside of Georgia knew what that group was all about, they’d understand.
