While I agree with your sentiment on taxpayer money, I disagree that money spent killing Islamic savages is not money well spent. We either help kill them there or they kill us here.
They need to be put down.
That was the argument in 2002 as we prepared to invade Iraq. "Fight them there, or we will have to fight them here."
So what happened? We broke the hornet's nest (as Pat Buchanan put it), and created a refugee crisis so we had to fight them here.
Mideast wars don't destroy Islam. They only send them to the West.
