That’s one of those ideas that is great in theory, but fails in reality. Farage has no base of support among Conservative MPs, and there is no shortage of Tories who would like the top job who have support.
Kemi Badenoch would be far better than Farage and does not have his baggage.
If he’s elected leader someone will resign or be bought off to leave a district vacant then he runs and wins.
There is also the option to go to the Lords and become Lord Farage. The PM can come from the upper house too (equivalent of the Senate) by appointment but it’s not been done for a long time and kind of looks undemocratic/bad.
The Lords way might be his best option to be honest.
It would be hilarious to have a Prime Minister from the House of Lords.
I dont think its been done since the 1800s but theoretically possible.
