It’s impossible to ignore the heart-wrenching news flooding in from Israel and Palestine. Just yesterday, a Christian hospital in Gaza was destroyed, causing hundreds of deaths. The shock waves reverberate through our social media feeds, sparking outrage and fiery debates. The headlines scream of the horrors of terrorism, and we, as a faith community, echo these sentiments with fervor. But do we maintain that same moral outrage when we discuss the daily killing of unborn children in our own nation?
Abortion in the United States is a thriving enterprise. Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, over 60 million babies have been aborted. Even in the wake of its overturning by the Supreme Court, today, approximately 2,000 abortions are performed daily in the U.S. alone. And that’s just surgical abortions—this doesn’t even include chemical abortions committed by women who take “Plan B” pills or abortifacient “birth control.” The number is staggering and yet, our nation seems increasingly set on not just sustaining this death toll but growing it. So-called “progressives” advocate for expanding abortion access, ensuring that the number of innocents who die keeps climbing. Isn’t it baffling—how one form of death can lead to outrage while another leads to legislation?
Let’s look squarely at the issue without climbing in the mud holes with abortion-loving advocates: women don’t have abortions, they commit abortions. And the abortion industry is nothing short of terrorism against the most vulnerable. While we condemn acts of violence in far-off lands, our own soil is soaked in the blood of the innocent and it is high time we grapple with this glaring hypocrisy.
Proverbs 6:16-17 states: “There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood.” This passage doesn’t mince words and leaves no room for complacency. God hates the shedding of innocent blood. To willfully kill an innocent unborn child is not only an abomination but a direct affront to God Himself. It’s a full-on assault on His image. If that doesn’t qualify as terrorism, then what does?
Do we not see the disconnect here? How can we be so incensed by the violence across the world and yet so complacent about the massacre happening within our borders? It’s an irony that would be comedic if it weren’t so deadly. Are our moral scales so skewed that the life of a child in a womb is deemed less valuable than any other?
I’d like to point you to Exodus 21:22-25, which outlines the Mosaic law concerning harm to pregnant women, “When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined… But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth…”
Here, the Old Testament law explicitly states that causing harm to an unborn child is a grave offense that demands equivalent retribution. The message is clear—the life within the womb is of equal value and its intentional destruction is a crime deserving of severe judgment. If the ancient law of God mandated “life for life” for accidental harm to an unborn child, can we even fathom the weight of wrath reserved for those who intentionally kill the unborn today?
In the Old Testament, when the Israelites embraced the horrific practice of child sacrifice, God’s judgment was fierce and decisive. Do we think He feels any differently about the sanctioned killing of children today? No amount of modern rationalization can sanitize this brutal act. Let’s call it what it is, terrorism. In our obsession to denounce overseas brutality, let’s not overlook the terrorism that’s approved, funded, and perpetuated within our own borders.
How can we weep for the destruction abroad and yet offer not so much as a whisper for the lives obliterated under the banner of “choice”? Are we the modern-day Pharisees, quick to point out the speck in our neighbor’s eye while ignoring the log in our own?
When the books are opened on Judgment Day, rest assured that each and every life will matter. The same God who weeps for the victims of terrorism abroad will demand an accounting for the innocent lives taken in the sterilized rooms of abortion clinics.
So, let’s drop the pretense. If we’re going to be outraged about terrorism, let’s be consistent. It’s not just suicide bombers and gunmen who are terrorists—it’s also anyone who advocates for, legislates, or turns a blind eye to the murder of innocent children in the womb.
Abortion is terrorism, and it’s about time we treated it as such. Let’s not let our moral indignation be selective, for God’s certainly isn’t.

When God put his “fierce and decisive” judgement back then what the hell do you all think happened? “All Hell” that is what happened. They were invaded remember? Bad things happened remember? It was not on CNN because there was no CNN but it happened. Only back then it happened with swords, spears and knives, maybe catapults? It was brutal.
But Mossad wasn’t affected, and neither was Israel’s political class. So I’m not seeing the rational for the Biblical connection to Israel’s disregard for nascent life.
Abortion is murder but it is not terrorism. It is atrocity, sacrilege, but not terrorism.
Terrorism is attacks on a civilian population intended to terrify the population into submitting to political change or to stop resisting rule by tyrants or gangs.
Unborn babies cannot act politically, cannot decide to submit or resist, cannot respond to whatever fear or pain they may feel.
Forced abortion can be terrorism, but in Israel and most parts of the world, women, and men, choose it freely.

I attend my Messianic Congregation every week. This is the punishment of all unredeemed, when all those not written in the book of life will be judged according to thier deeds. And yes, abortionists will be judged more severely.
