Actually, I like your suggestion, as long as the damage is done, surround the doxxed Operators & Families with camouflaged protection and use them (respectfully) as Bait.

This would have to be done carefully in civilian settings. Additionally, doxxed Operators should be allowed to carry weapons at all times, including concealed in civilian settings. Screw the Gun Controllers.
