The owner of New York City’s famed 2nd Ave Deli tells Fox News that he is now "afraid of what can happen and what the future holds" after his Jewish eatery was vandalized this week with a swastika.
Jeremy Lebewohl told "Fox & Friends" on Thursday that "At first I was just shocked, and I was upset about it, I was angry about it" and "then I was just sad that all of this is happening in my city" when he discovered what was drawn on his business on Monday

I’d get the pastrami in rye with mustard. Just sayin. Good friends of ours were just there last week. On the day after the attacks we went to Abe’s Deli in Scranton. (Kosher deli now owned by an Italian.) The pastrami was the best I ever had.

I have found that most of the most famous places in New York City are overpriced (equal or better fare available for less). It seems that “fame” brings the right to charge more, or in some cases to merely deliver less worthy fare.
That would go double for a strictly kosher place like this one. At least the $25 sandwiches are excellent and enough for two.
Good point. After the book (and film) Hitler’s Willing Executioners even the weak arguments against common support for targeting Jews were deflated.
In the US the backing of various Arab groups, Black Panthers, Black Lives Matter and the Squad types, greatly increased by college graduates and current students propagandized and indoctrinated by woke academics has caused a quick showing up of anti-Jewish demonstrators all over the US.
This shameful trend was enabled by BLM and the woke movement. Jews are considered “white oppressors” by socialists and college students and others do not argue.
When the Ten Commandments and Exodus were in theaters, the majority of people sympathized with Jews. I remember a Jackie Gleason Show (his talk show) in 1967 where he praised the Israelis for just having successfully fought the combined attacks by the armies of Egypt, Syria and Jordan, and the audience applauded and cheered.
Now they really have turned the other way. Tragically.
What does he expect in a liberal Democrat city?
Wonder if it is yet another hoax. Given it is highly likely that the culprit is a follower of the demonic religion of islam, possibly not.
