He’s definitely next in line for the Dem. nomination..
1) Biden drops out for health reasons after securing the Dem nomination. He doesn’t resign, he just says he’s not running.
2) The DNC hands the nomination to Newsom, Biden gives his stamp of approval.
3) Harris makes some noise but fades out with the promise of some $$ and a cushy job somewhere, or a promise of a SC nod if Newsom wins.
4) Newsom start campaigning as a “moderate” with a dark horse running mate. Definitely a woman, preferably a POC, but not Harris....who then??
5) With Newsom running, JFK Jr.’s influence as a 3rd party spoiler wanes.
I guarantee, promise, with 100% confidence, that every single female DEM will pull the lever for Newsome. They will drop JFK Jr like he never existed in the first place.

Gretchen Whitmer. Not a POC, but a statist demagogue, just like Newsom.

He is a horrible Governor with no real accomplishments and plenty of negative actions. He only survived the recall by vote ballot harvesting and vote fraud.
