She had to tell the prosecutors what she was willing to testify on prior to her plea deal. Presumably they liked what they heard or else they wouldn’t have offered her this sweetheart deal.
Maybe, maybe the prosecutors sweetened the deal in order to get a news story out. A veneer of guilt, ect.
If they really had the goods, would they have given her a light sentence of misdemeanors?
