I have read it more than once.   That is why I had the .pdf bookmarked.   Partly because of that, I am one of the odd birds who think some humans will survive a nuclear holocaust.

Farnham's Freehold and Lucifer's Hammer are a couple of those other books that can make one think beyond a complacent lotus-eater lifestyle.

I believe EMP is real and that it will be as devastating as advertised. Yes, I believe we and the planet will survive just fine. We, living in the Northern Hemisphere, will be pretty well screwed though. The most frightening book I’ve ever read is One Second After.
