Leonard Cure was attempting to kill the police officer. Justified self-defense shooting.
Yeah, justified.
Mr Cure was a POS and we are better off without him.
Benjamin Crump, a prominent civil rights attorney...🤣🤨
Yeah that was a new one. “Prominant”. At least they didn’t say “Respected”.
Hemorrhoids are also “prominent”.
Perp was a Broward county resident. Walking in lockstep with the left, local Miami media is amplifying Crump’s talking points.
Cure resisted every step of the way. Once Cure pulled the teaser wires and attacked the cop it was justified. This is an F around find out case.
I also watch the video. With a back ground of 30 plus years as a LEO trainer.
The deputy make a lot of mistakes.
Both let their emotions rule the situation.
It could have been handle better right from the start.
Better tactics better verbal skills could most likely prevented the attack and shooting.
Once the attack began was the officer justified in defending is life. That will be decided by people that have more information than I.

I was trying to figure out what a “cure shot”, from the title, was...
How can anyone not be justified in defending his life? Racial politics aside, this would seem to be a universal moral principle.
Ask the Israelis about the justification of defending one’s life. In the Marxist West justification is entirely race based.
Was the cop’s life in danger? It appears so.
Is he alive today to talk about it? It appears so.
Not guilty.
The cop gave lawful orders. The perp resisted. The perp grabbed the cop’s face and the non-lethal tools of taser and baton didn’t work.
Only an insane prosecutor would file a case and only a grifting attorney would file a civil suit.
Probably meant to type the officer was justified, and it came out was the officer justified
Sadly, I believe you are correct.
Watching the video again, it appears the perp gave the cop a false name. He said his name was “Juan Williams”.
Not mentioned by the media reports I saw.
Dey ain’t be tryin’ to help da black community! We need dem programz and sheeiit!!
Time to separate folks.
Not once Cure exited his vehicle and refused a directive to get back in it. The whole situation changed at that point.
Better tactics, perhaps. Verbal skills? No way.
