Whenever I see that attached to any Washington pol, I am reminded that in Washington that phrase is a relative one. What does it mean? Its meaning is different to everyone, and especially in Washington it’s meaning is just a mouthful of words, nothing more.

Miller-Meeks voted in favor of Jordan for speaker initially, but she retracted it in the subsequent vote. She said one of the reasons why she retracted her vote was a concern over "threatening tactics" from his supporters.
Still have to ask why was she threatened after voting for him?
I guess she could have been referring to threatening tactics against others.
