Actually, if memory serves me correctly, the Obama house was listed on the tax records as belonging to a judge in Chicago and the yard next to it being under the Obama’s. The yard next to the house wasn’t large enough for a home to be built on it and didn’t seem as though it should have been able to have been severed from the home due to the location.
you may be right, bottom line seems like he wasn’t paying property tax on it though, someone else was
